Cindy was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where she dedicated a little over 10 years to the welfare of animals by working in NYC’s only open-admission municipal shelter. She started her career as an Animal Care Officer in April 2013 and held various roles in the Behavior Department, where she developed a passion for behavioral modification and enrichment for domestic pet animals. She is a Certified Feline Trainer and Behavior Specialist and is also a Fear Free certified professional. She left NYC to move to western MA with her partner and 3 rescue cats in Nov 2023. She may seem like a “cat lady” but she loves all animals! The “weirder” the better.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature. She loves traveling, hiking, and snowboarding. She also likes photography, aka taking endless photos of her pets.
