The Easthampton Animal Hospital offers a wide range of services. Wellness care is very important. This includes yearly physical exams, new puppy or kitten education, senior pet examination with blood work, flea, tick, heartworm and lyme disease prevention, nutritional consulting, diabetic consulting, management of non-life threatening diseases, and many other things. Any and all questions you have are very important to us. We know you want to give the best possible care to your pet and we do also.
Sick visits: This includes a physical examination, consultation with the owner, and treatment. Most sick visits are not serious and with the proper treatment your pet can start feeling better right away. Other sick visits require a more extensive exam, which may include blood work, x-rays, EKG’s, or consultation with a specialist.
Laboratory: We offer state of the art laboratory services. We have in-house blood chemistry, CBC, and thyroid capability. In many cases we are able to get the lab results of the patient in 15 to 20 minutes. Therefore, your pet is able to get treatment started right away. If your pet requires more extensive blood work we can send it out for analysis at an outside lab.
X-RAY: We offer x-ray capability. Through the Internet we e-mail a picture of the actual x-ray films to Board Certified Radiologist at Veterinary Multi-Imaging. These results can be available for Dr. Hayden in 2 hours.
Surgery: Routine surgeries are done on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Surgeries include, spaying and neutering, dental, soft tissue mass removals, etc. Most pets will have their surgery performed in the morning and go home in the afternoon.

Dr. Michael Frost, a surgeon, comes to the office on scheduled days for consultations and more extensive surgeries.

Dr. Eric Peterson, a Board Certified Internist, comes to the office on scheduled days for consultations, ultrasounds, and biopsies.
Financial: Payment is expected at the time of visit. For your convenience cash, Check, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and *Care Credit are all accepted.
Animal Behavioralist: We recommend Pet Companion at 45 Morgan Street in Granby, MA. Please contact Pam Bock at (413) 467-9961.
Pet Sitter: For dog walking or pet sitting, we recommend either Lora Saltis, A Parade of Pets, (413) 527-8036 or Diane Blakesley-Graham, The Dog Walker, (413) 527-5305.
